Hey btw can anyone tell me how many versions of 325/325is were there in total? As far as I know there're the black plastic original, the silver one, the golden one and the chrome one?

The black model wasn't plastic, its aluminum.

There were also two "silver" ones, as I understand, either side of the chrome ones. The ones prior were brushed aluminium and after annodised sparkly grey.
Does anyone know how long the chrome ones were around for and roughly how many were produced?

What's the difference between silver and chrome? I have the SR325is, is this Grado of mine per pic below (with RS1i that I wanted to brag of..:D) the "chrome" version, hence "is"?

For looks.  Besides, the cans were gone for about six weeks so who could remember?

There's a 325is whole chromed version, powder coated and a polished one. In the end, there are no sonic differences between them.

And a black model also.

I have recently upgraded from the 225i to the gold 325i. #2531. I really like the better looking quality and feel. Quality of bass is much better too.

IMO, the SR325is is the most under-appreciated of all the Grado models. The reason, I think, is its cheaper than 5 other Grado models, which gives out impressions to many that it's 5x of lesser quality. Know what I'm saying?

I think its the most accurate=transparent of all Grado's, maybe to the exception only of PS1000 (which I've only heard for a few minutes so I may even be inaccurate).
