I just have it installed as it is...no spacer.Do you use a spacer with the SD++ or leave it flush with the nozzle (which pretty much negates the effect if the dots but it's still a very soft and comfy tip). I use a small spacer with the SD to reveal a row of dots and let them do their dotty thing.

Does anyone have any experience with the new IPX connection? I am ordering the a18s. I know the old mmcx connection was not well loved. Would I be better off ordering the 2 pin. Suggestions?

Depends if you want to cable roll or not. 2 pin will still be more common than ipx.Does anyone have any experience with the new IPX connection? I am ordering the a18s. I know the old mmcx connection was not well loved. Would I be better off ordering the 2 pin. Suggestions?
can you anyone give me a quick comparison between A6T and A12T. I am thinking of upgrading but the am afraid that the bass of A12T is too strong, lesser high and MOST importantly, how does the vocal of A12T compare to A6T?
I have the A6T now, and have not being listening to anything else except A6T. What I really like is the A6T vocal is just so romantic and beautiful. I listen mosty to Jazz and pop once in a while. Is the A12T vocal range as good as A6T?

Best option would be A18s for sure.Which model would you say is best for using as a monitor on stage for live rock music?

Should sound good from a phone too. the LID technology definitely helps with that.Do you think listening to music from my phone with the a18s would be an issue? I read some reviews saying it doesn’t down scale very well compared to the a12t.

With components of this size there's really not much burn in that takes place, frankly the components never get hotter than when they were initially soldered together. One could argue that the DD could change after "burn in", but again the components are so small and the excursion of the driver is so minimal (in comparison to large speakers components).Hi, I lucked into a good deal on a barely used tia trio. My question does the trio need burning in and if so for how many hours? thx

I'd say the A12t is an upgrade on all of the best parts of the A6t. Very similar overall curve but greater extension in the lows/highs and just higher fidelity overall.can you anyone give me a quick comparison between A6T and A12T. We'd advise keeping an eye on the resistivity of that cable, the impedance is a little to high for our taste here which is why we chose to source our own cable when working with their IPX socketsI wanted to go for Linum cables, but they stopped sellng the G2 bax 2pin and only offer superbax models for the 2 pin variant which costs north of 280 Euros.
In my opinion, the iem cables should be as thin and light as possible, but I don't get why most IEM manufacturers ship their product with stiff and heavy ones.

@64Audio what is the best email or contact method regarding a potential iem purchase? Does a PM here suffice?
The new connection is something we worked on for quite some time. Better water resistivity (IP67 rated), more insertions, better retention. It is similar to some of the other brands using this connector but our implementation in the shell and our cables are unique to us, and priced much more reasonably. If you can fit a recessed 2-pin socket with the volume of your outer ear, then the retention and insertions will be similar. Definitely a lot more third party cable options for the 2pin but we have been seeing more IPX/T2 options available like Plus Sound.Does anyone have any experience with the new IPX connection? Thanks for the heads-up. Would it be because of the change to frequency response (1.5 ohm impedance) or it could damage the connectors of IEMs?We'd advise keeping an eye on the resistivity of that cable, the impedance is a little to high for our taste here which is why we chose to source our own cable when working with their IPX sockets
@64Audio does all the universals stock now comes new logo/text font and leather case? If not, can we specifically ask for it for new order? I’m interested in a new set of Fourte and looking at ordering via Singapore authorized dealers. What is the built time or stock availability situation? Thanks.
I have always gone for universal iems when I started this hobby early this year for the simple reason of it being easier to sell than a custom iem for obvious reasons.
Having dated a lot of iems, I realized I love the house sound of 64 Audio.. .and after having the U18t, U12t, Trio in my stable, it was only logical that my first CIEM should be from 64 Audio as well.
Say hello to my new A18s...
The fit and seal is superb! Well done 64 Audio...this is everything I expected of a ciem and I highly recommend others to try having one once you realize you can go long term in a relationship with a particular iem.
I feel like I'd like to slow down now in trying other iems for the meantime while I now explore the headphone scene.
