Don't shoot the messenger... market expectations is less than 50% of retail.

See:-
https://cymbacavum.com/2014/06/08/going-custom-yes-or-no/

"Resale value. If you intend to sell off your CIEM, your resale value will usually be no more than 50% of the price you bought it for, since you need to factor in the average cost to reshell the CIEM for the new user. 50% is actually an optimistic estimate — if you can get it between 35-40% of your purchase price, then it’s already a pretty good deal."
Yeah I did some research and I got about the same values... not great haha. Not really worth it to sell them for that little either way, thanks!

re A18t re-sale one is priced at $1,400 USD right now in classifieds and not moving.
Yup hard pass on that price :D I'll be keeping them for home use ^^

Add: Also a nice opportunity to expand the collection with a Katana, heard them for the first time yesterday and genuinely fell in love, amazing IEMs, neutral with slightly forward mids. Still curious to hear the Khan but I've heard they have pretty impacting and strong bass which isn't really my cup of tea

raymogi can you tell us what it is like to listen to u18t on both wm1z and dmp-1z? i have never heard my iems on any other source (besides phone) and so i guess i wonder if the dmp demonstrates that the iem's have a lot more to give or not. or is the dmp not for iem's for you? i do not have a dmp but was drooling over them last night. maybe you've written about this before?

i am just now reading the Chord Dave thread and so your post is very timely. i presume with a WM1Z i could still benefit from this? so like at home say i plug the WM into the hugo say and i use the WM as just a digital source. so ups the game at home but out and about i have simplicity of WM1Z alone?

Impressions done. I have a sharper 2nd turn. Will that be a problem for customs?

Just got my Leonidas II, plugged that to U12T hooked up the modded AMP8 by @WindowsX, and what can I say! I almost shed a tear in some tracks like below, it's that good.

I have far beyond exceeded the budget I had for this portable setup. Truly blessed to have this.

Thanks @Wyville for the recommendation and @Deezel177 , this is special!!

I use the AK320 as source for my Hugo 2 and Hugo 2 TT. I could just use the AK but once I heard the sound of the Hugo powering the A18tzar there was no going back to full portable. I just stack the two and feed the Hugo 2 a usb feed via Furutec usb cable . I throw in in my shoulder bag and I’m off.

I was at CanJam a couple weeks back, and was utterly floored by the Noble Khan, while I just really loved 64 Audio's 12t and 18t. But the Khan was being powered by the Hugo 2 TT, while the two 64 Audio pieces were fueled by my personal portable source: the lowly, magnificent Radsone ES100.

Must. Not. Buy. Hugo…

seedubchris - may i ask what cable that is?

X2 I've never seen an input jack like that. It makes a lot of sense and will protect my Dap(s)

What type of color did you use on your logo to get that gold/metalic look and was that a custom order material they used?

Out of curiosity, when you guys say your 64audio iems pairs up great with a particular source, what other source/s are you comparing it to? Would be good to know for a comparison reference.

Personally, I haven't find too many bad pair ups, unless if we are talking about non-LID ones like U18t/Fourte driven by original Hiby R6 with its 10 ohm output impedance where you need to use iEMatch. And also some portable sources will exhibit low level "waterfall" hissing with low impedance U18t/Fourte when you are idling or during quiet passages of the song. I mean, there will be some variations in pair up synergy, depending on sound sig and technical performance of the source, but either SPK, LPGT, WM1Z, DX220, Plenue L, N8/N6ii are all great.
