It's funny you mention masks and CIEMs, because it's something I've been struggling with since my church reopened a few weeks ago (with all the social distancing, mask-wearing and disinfecting policies firmly in place, I must add). I've found that some masks can have straps that are tight enough that they start to "push" the CIEMs out of my ears. So, one of my criteria now when picking a mask to wear is to see whether or not it also fits the CIEMs I tend to use whilst mixing. :D I should note, though, that the A18s is the only that's worked with every mask I've tried, so kudos to 64 for that achievement.

Of my customs from three different manufacturers, I find the 64 Audio fit the best.

You can get extenders for masks that give a bit more slack if masks are too tight. They go behind the back of the head. Do a search for mask extenders on amazon and the like.

My 64 A12 has probably the most secure/tight fit out of all my CIEMs. I notice most of my other CIEMs are slightly "looser". With the A12 it's always tight on initial insertion, but after a few minutes it's a great fit/seal.

5 weeks normal for customs from 64A?
Hard to elicit response from customer care.
Can't say if it's normal. But this is the 5th week for my A18s and supposedly they are to be done by the end of this week. So almost 5 and a half weeks for mine.
My A18s just got delivered last week and were 5 weeks to the day from receiving impressions.

Man, some of you guys don’t even look at other threads, do you? :relaxed:

I love 64a, and the a18 is one of my favorite iems of all time, but there’s a whole world out there...
