Goodness, that's decadent. What are you pairing that with?

I expect that @Giraku will, but I don't have it myself. Just a little too decadent for me right now, as it's a $1,599 cable (hence the luxurious box). It did sound pretty darn good when I demoed it with the U6 though. :D

I'm using the Horus with my U18t now. I will experiment with Fourte soon.

Man, I'd almost buy the cable just for the case!!
Oh, that's gonna be a very expensive case.
Seriously, there should be more cases with various design available. I'm sure that there is a good sized market for them.

So this morning on my train ride into work I got 1 hour of uninterrupted listening to the U18’s and gosh these things are great. I listented to Norah Jones “Come Away with Me” and “Little Broken Hearts” and just wow, just wow. Thank you Sony and 64Audio. I skipped to few songs and found that M20 module to be just right with thump, mids and high(yeah those tia highs). I will reserve the M15 for my classical albums. This is via 3.5, I can’t imagine via the 4.4.

@yakitoroi I can only imagine, sounds like a fantastic commute. That 4.4mm is going to be insane spacious and clear. I was reading @twister6 review of that the other day and it sounds like a great pairing!

@Giraku I'll be interested to hear your impressions. I am on the fence between either the forte or the U18t as my next TOTL IEM.....and I love cables :)

Thank you. How do you find they compare to the 08?

For me, 07 sounds more natural than 08. And I feel more transparency for 07. It might depend on your source as well but 07 tip does sound wise with my U12.

I looked into your recommendations and they are all good. Thank you @Giraku I think you might Lisa Lovbrand, she did an outstanding cover of Light My Fire.
Also thank you @felixaaron
Any recommendations on 4.4 balance cable?

Wow, she is good. Thank you!!
For 4.4mm plug, I use 4.4 -> 2.5mm converters as I have multiple cables terminated with 2.5mm plugs.

Do adapters effect sound quality? I always feel like it will when I connect a really nice cable to a mediocre adapter.

It does. But the magnitude of the quality deterioration is not big. To my ears, difference in cables has 98% of sound signature influence.
I mainly use this:
https://www.amazon.com/MEE-audio-CM...0958&sr=8-2&keywords=mee+audio+cable+adaptors
This set comes with "L" shaped 4.4mm converter, 3.5mm TRRS, and 3.5mm TRS. When the source does not have balanced output, 3.5mm TRS converter becomes really handy to compare different 2.5mm terminated cables.

@ceeloChamp : Normally, a short adaptor effects on SQ, and mostly distort SQ from low margin to high margin. Though in case of a tail-pig adaptor, it will bring better or worse SQ depends on synergy of a tail-pig cable. If you want a 2.5->3.5 adaptor, please consider the Effect Audio adaptor.

Thank you both for the good advice re:adapters.
