I never ever heard condensation probleme with 64a iems.

I have had multiple iems from 64a and I worn them over 5 hours a shot and in winter canada and summer in the south of the usa. Never a single condensation problem ever

You’re able to wipe the condensation down? Is it on the outside of the IEM? If so, isn’t it perhaps just sweat, skin oil or earwax?
It's on the tip of the nozzle, so I can wipe it down.

You can pick up a hearing aid dryer for around $50 if you're concerned about moisture buildup inside the shell. Be sure to check the inner dimensions of the drying area to make sure it will fit a set of IEMs.
I'll look into that option. It would be a bit tiresome to run the IEMs in the dryer after every use though.

That sounds like warm wax to me, if it get stiffer and solid after 15min then its wax

That's odd though, since my ears produce dry, flakey wax instead of the wet, paste-y ones.

Well when your ears are closed and has no venting cause tour iems plugged in to your ears this is what happens. Wax get wetty. I just clean it off while ita warm and ita clean clean.

I am more then sure its wax and not water.

I also still prefer the stock ear tips with my Fourte after trying so many aftermarket ear tips. I have not found one that sounds as good and balanced as the stock tips. I believe 64 Audio have taken into detailed consideration of the ear tips impact on the result of intended sound tuning.
Same here! They work very well for me. I tried a bunch of other tips and neglected the stock ones which ended up being my favorite for comfort and sound. To be fair, that rarely happens with stock tips.

Another one that the stock foam tips worked great. Hard to like foams and even harder to like stock foams. :)

Hey guys. Im building myself a little ROON IEM setup at home. The U12t is the star of the show. My thought is Laptop(core)- dac/amp connected to Rpi with Ropieee- using my v40 or Samsung tablet as a remote.

I need a dac/amp. Any particular sugguestion for one to pair with U12T? If i had a lot of money i would buy myself an RME ADI 2 FS, but i cant afford that.

Been looking at Topping, S.M.S.L, different Ifi' devices. Happy to buy 2nd hand.

Thanks:)

The topping are prob not a good pairing with U12T. What about Khadas tone board w that is adveticed here on headfi?

Not sure if it’s been posted yet but I see there’s 15% off both customs and universals on the website at the moment.

Some people say that since some 64 Audio IEMs had LID technology, they will NOT scale with equipment. What do you think?

Thought the whole point of lid was to cut out impedance issues rather like C A’s fibae tech?

Idk. just was on another forum/discussion where someone said that it doesnt matter which dac/amp u use with u12t casue of the LID tech? It will sound excatly the same cause of it.

That's not entirely true. LID protects the IEM's frequency response from being altered by the source's output impedance. So, unless the device's tuning is done at a software level (like on Sony's Walkmen), the IEM should have the same tonal balance on every source. But, if the DAC is able to decode more information from the track (i.e. stronger spatial cues, a larger stage, a larger dynamic range, higher resolution, a cleaner background, etc.), then that information will translate to the IEM. It'll just be the tonality of the IEM that's consistent, unless, again, the player is tuned via software.

Look who just joined the NIO's lovers club. This thing sounds great with the stock foams and MX module.

Now I'm questioning myself if A12t is actually the One.
