Look who just joined the NIO lovers. This thing sounds great with the stock foams and MX module.

Now I'm questioning myself id A12t is actually the One.
Decided to take a walk down the rabbit hole, did you? Nio is awesome. And while you're here, let me show you a few more tunnels you can walk through...mwahaha!

Really thinking on how the N8 would be compared to my A12t... (I prefer customs)

That's not entirely true. LID protects the IEM's frequency response from being altered by the source's output impedance. So, unless the device's tuning is done at a software level (like on Sony's Walkmen), the IEM should have the same tonal balance on every source. But, if the DAC is able to decode more information from the track (i.e. stronger spatial cues, a larger stage, a larger dynamic range, higher resolution, a cleaner background, etc.), then that information will translate to the IEM. It'll just be the tonality of the IEM that's consistent, unless, again, the player is tuned via software.
Aha.. ! Thanks. Im looking for a dac/amp to use for my U12T with Roon. The Khadas tone 2 pro seems like a very deal! What do u think?

I can't say. I'm not a Roon user, and I don't know anything about the Khadas Tone 2 Pro. I think the U12t is a monitor that can be driven by virtually any source, so any DAC/amp that's quality and easy-to-use should work perfectly fine.

Idk. just was on another forum/discussion where someone said that it doesnt matter which dac/amp u use with u12t casue of the LID tech? It will sound excatly the same cause of it.

Not true. The A12t sounds better on my Hiby R8 than my other daps. It definitely does not sound the same. Lid does not change the tone of the dap.

Thanks. Khadas Tone pro 2 it will be. Thought about Ifi ZEN stack,but khadas seems so good! Thanks

@64Audio
I've been seeing condensation build up on my U12t after my listening sessions.
I wipe down the droplets and store them in a Pelican case w/desiccant bags.
Is the condensation something to be wary of? Worried that it'll damage the drivers overtime.
can you reach out to support@64audo.com, we usually get back within 24 hours and are able to dive into these issues deeper than on the forum. Can you start by sending a photo of the area in question.

Some people say that since some 64 Audio IEMs had LID technology, they will NOT scale with equipment. What do you think?
The LID technology is specifically designed to deal with impedance. Depending on the gear you're switching between, you still could hear differences depending on how that gear was designed to sound; maybe a less obvious difference.
