I hope that Spotify and Apple music will be available on R3. More streaming service is nice and make the R3 more versatile.

And I’m gonna keep liking every post that Mentions Apple Music.

Good luck on the Apple Music front... but I'm very hopeful that Spotify is receptive. They want everyone to listen to spotify everywhere... while Apple wants you to buy Apple hardware (I think that Sonos might be the only non-Apple device that works with Apple Music).

In fact, Apple music is now supporting Android OS. I'm using it with an Android phone so I think it is not impossible to implement the service to R3.

That's sounding a little wild isn't it? Given that we don't have Apple Music on the player?
On the other hand you can stream from the iPhone to the R3 using AirPlay or DLNA.
hi, seems like the R3 can be a handy portable streamer. any chance you can include support for chromecast audio in the device?

this would add multiple music services support including spotify. this would also compete nicely with the chord poly.

In the last few days I tried to accomplish a stable music (with lossless files) distribution via UPNP/DLNA connection at home. I wanted Hiby Music app on iPhone to work because I am buying an R3. But currently the app is such a mess when it tries to pull music from any of my UPNP/DLNA servers. For most of the time when I try to play a song it just hangs or sometimes plays randomly or plays after hanging like 20-30 secs and crashes and so on. I downloaded like almost all free well-known UPNP capable apps on my phone. Only Fiio Music app works perfectly with my desktop PC UPNP server (it crashes when I connect to my router's USB UPNP drive). Other than that Fiio app, Sigmatunes ST-1 (which is a paid app) worked perfectly with my UPNP servers, and played bit-perfectly to my Chord Mojo. I have max 96kHz/24bits FLACs, I hope Hiby Music will get better with UPNP/DLNA someday. So I can manage my whole music addiction at home with a single safe and convenient app.

Yes, but I find it interesting that they haven't indicated that at least they'll try to work w/ Apple on adding an app version for the platform they run on the R3.
