Excuse me while I go commando .....no flowers were hurt during shooting !
I really wonder whether these men let their photos taken under a gun point, lost a bet, or simply high on something...

Nice review, Eric![]()
And some damn good photos mixed in there! What're you doing for lighting?
Thanks, good sir. Picked up one of THESE a couple of weeks ago. Photos taken with iPhone, but the light box does wonders!
You're vey welcome, good sirrah![]()
I've jimmy-rigged light boxes before but don't have a dedicated light box. Might have to invest in one of those. Nice that it comes with different backgrounds...
Yeah, but the red one gives my iPhone fits... actually red in general sends the iPhone cam round the bend.
This one folds up to nothing, too, so easy to pack away when not in use.
I'd be using my Olympus mirrorless interchangeable lens camera, which has pretty darn good white balance so I think I'd be ok - even with red.
I was particularly impressed with the photos with a black background. Really nice deep black background - such a negative space around the ESS HP. And the HP had nice highlights - not blown out at all. I figured you must be using either a lightbox or really big light source with a diffuser.
Anyways, kudos! It always blows me away that cell phones can take such nice photos these days. I remember my first cell phone camera - what garbage. My iPhone 5s takes such nice photos - under good light. If lighting is poor, I always break out the big guns (Oly + f1.7 lens) to get less noise and faster focusing![]()
Yeah, iPhone camera and the Camera+ app do pretty nicely.
For you the next purchase is a cheapie (lightbox). For me it's not (a real camera). Gotta sell off some stuff I guess... Have always liked Olympus (had the L1 and L3 back in the day).
Man, those OM-D cameras are so rad, Eric!
I'd love to justify purchasing one. From the reviews I've read, the in-body 5-way image stabilization makes for super fast focus even in poor light. I realize large sensor DSLRs have been doing this for awhile, but to get that in such a small camera without needing image stabilizing lenses is just freaking awesome!!!
Do like the idea of the Micro 4/3... Starting to put some pennies aside. May have to get some extra hours at my hobby job!
Do it!!!
We could have a m4/3 Lab takeover![]()
That would be cool.
By the way, looking into doing a tour of a recently reviewed product... would you be in?
Oh yeah![]()
