Keep them coming Hisoundfi. Great samples.

Speaking vocals only you ever hear Phrases on Dr. Chesky's Binaural Sound Show? This is recorded quiet so you may need to turn it up.

A strange track but fun to listen to once or twice.

Haven't looked at shipping from Japan, but earwerks wants $25 just to ship to Canada. It was cheaper for me to get my jeezus big-n-heavy (and incredibly awesome) headphone stand shipped.

I got my headphone stands today too and I was surprised how heavy it was. The cost of shipping was quite cheap actually. Cant believe earwerkz has the gall to charge 25 dollars lol. I would rather pay Dopaminer extra for expedited shipping and get a whole bunch at once

Good question, I honestly don't know. I think that what's makes some IEM's (and headphones as well) to be really speical, not really sounding too similar to something else I mean (or at least not sounding like anything I've heard is probably more correct). If i turn it around they're the first IEM's I enjoy as much as the Havis and those ticks most of my boxes so they do have similarities but they certainly don't sound the same if that makes sense.

The more I think about your question the more frustrated I get. I'll try to explain a bit more and see if you (or anyone else) will be able to help me out. There's something in the sound on the Havi B3's, CKR9/10, Fidelio X2's and even the Q701's that makes them more enjoyable to me compared to other, also very solid offerings, like the Titan 1 or the DT880. I don't know if it's timber, more depth or a slight warmth but this is what makes me put the former over the latter. They just feel more "organic" in their presentation if that makes sense, I really don't know how to put it in words but I'd guess you've noticed through my rant

I've read several people calling the CKR9 a GR07BE on steriods or a direct upgrade but for some reason I've never heard them so I can't comment on that

The more I listen to my CKR9 the more I become doubtful whether it is real or fake since I bought mine from China's Taobao website. I don't like the sound. The mid is too forward and the treble is too veiled. Even my Havi sounds so much better to my ears. Nowadays I use mostly Titan 1 and Duoza.
