This little thing makes your phone sound like a million bucks!

The bit rate isn't the highest but don't let that deceive you. This thing plugged into my LG G3 is becoming my new go to portable rig. It makes everything sound great, from IEM to 300 ohm cans. Controls don't work for Android, but no biggie IMHO. This things is a plug and play awesomifier

Macaw GT100S - inverted dynamic driver headphones with interchangeable filters: http://penonaudio.com/Macaw-GT100s - just look at the leather case, metal shell, and interchangeable filters - pure class!!!

Ooh, looks like it could be pretty good!

Don't know about a sound yet (not yet

), but from pictures and the accessories - this looks like a pure class.  Kind of even reminds me of K3003 with removable filters...

I really hope Calyx will come up with Android version.  That would be so awesome to have playback control for android.  Do you have access to iPhone to test it out or did you only confirmed it with Windows media player?  Also, just curious, considering how small and thin PaT is, how do you attach it to your phone, just a single rubber band?  If so, it would have been awesome to have working android controls so you don't have to rely on touch screen covered by a band and just skip and play it from a card directly.  But nevertheless, Calyx knows how to get a sound right, and I'm looking forward to your review Vince!

Are these available yet? I've been looking forward to them coming out.
I've been jamming the e80 ever since I got it. It's an epic sounding IEM. It's really the total package in terms of sound. There's not too much, and not too little of anything.

They are released overseas and you can get them on Aliexpress, and the US release should be any time now.

Thanks. Never ordered from Aliexpress before, so I'll try to remain patient for a US release.

prices on aliexpress are more expensive that I anticipated. The E80 model is easily going for well above 100 canadian dollars. Hmm do you know what the RRP will be in the states?

I was just messing with you about the shipping time Peter. Thanks will take a look at it. I have a buddy who can ship it to me using epacket which takes about a week and a bit to North America so it wont take too long if I decide to get it :)  Cheers

Lol, no problem. I ordered the HI2050 yesterday and said myself that I'm looking forward to autumn so that I can hear them ;)

The less than a week delivery of the ED9's are not representative for delivery from Aliexpress to Norway so I'm just kidding with you. That being said I've ordered a lot of stuff from Aliexpress lately (unfortunately a lot of not audio related things) and shipping has been generally faster compared to what I'm used to so maybe something is changing or maybe it's just a coincidence.......
