+1. A few times when I have had mine on for a longer period of time I sometimes forget I'm wearing them and instead think I'm wearing my DT770's (not kidding!)

So, anyone up for a recable request to Brian? I have an annual bonus coming up so I don't really mind the unreasonable amount it will cost

Never done a recable on any of my HPs, although I tried a bunch of other mods. How does that work? Is there any tangible improvement? I'm not very good with soldering and stuff, is it difficult?

I was thinking about contacting Brian from BTG audio and ask if he could give us a group discount for HA-s500 recables.

i am going to let mine be recabled soon. it will become singlesided detechable, so that i can use the 3-button control cable from vmoda.

ordered the ws55 pads on last friday, got them on this monday. which is incredibly fast.

I find the stock pads to be more comfortable than the velours (these make my ears sweat) and they have a better sound than the HM5 pads. Are the WS55 pads more comfortable than the stock ones? I assume the highs and mids are improved, but how does it change the sound? I'm really close to buying them.
