I returned a T5 once and it cost me 25$ shipping to China from the US, very expensive but sometimes that's the only option you have.
What are you going to do about the DX50, get it fixed?

nope. i send it back. i pay 200 bucks extra and get a dx90

When using a .CUE file on a rather large .M4A file, I have noted that fw 1.2.8 can only scan 65 listed tracks (this .CUE file has 73 tracks totalling 3hrs of playtime) I believe this is a bug as wen I edit the track numbers and delete all additiooanl tracks after 65, then the player can read the individual tracks and play the music.  With the addition of one more track DX50 fails to read the .CUE file and ignored the music entirely.

Has anyone else seen this behavious on their DX50?

If this is a bug/limitation, how can iBasso be notified of this to address in the next firmware?

I have a little problem on resume playback (or last played position?). Let say I set gapless to off, and paused audio track 02.flac at 1'23" then off my DX50. After I turn it back on it will go back to audio track 02.flac at postion 1'23" (still paused, last position remembered). And if i go to previous song (e.g. audio track 01) by pressing previous button it will go there. The problem is after audio track 01 played and when it move to audio track 02, it will start at 1'23". Is this normal?
However, if i turn gapless on, no such problem. I am on 1.2.8.
Apologize if this has been asked before. Searching particular problem within 12xxx post is not easy, even with the search function.

Stupid question time but I searched and can't find the answer.

I have a playlist on the Ibasso DX50.  I don't know where that file and its info is but I do know the one time I removed the storage card and replaced it, I lost the playlist(s).  I'd like to copy that file so that I can at worst have a backup of it if I need to take the card out (for instance to use for another purpose for a while or swap to a different pile of my collection).

I cannot find anything playlist related on the device or my storage card in it when explorer with the file manager in Windows 7.

Any ideas?

My guess is that it is somewhere in internal Android storage and not availble

I make my own playlists as I have everything in folders on my card.  That way I always have what I want available.  I pull my card out fairly often to add or delete folders, using a card reader attached to my Mac.  I took a look at playlists in the DX50, decided against using them.

I got my dx50 last week and so far I'm a tad bit disappointed. It sounds lifeless and lacks authority(I'm guessing the amp section is the culprit). I've read the C&C BH2 can alleviate this. Any thoughts on whether I should go for the bh2 or are there any better amps under 200$ that fit the bill?

Or does it just need to break in more?

Any thoughts on the matter would really help!

I'm using a JDS Labs C5 (a bit over $200) and there is plenty of "authority."  But I wonder if your settings are correct, the DX50 sounds pretty good on its own.  Do you have the eq off, or is it on and you have frequencies turned down?  Are you on the current firmware (1.2.8)?  The BH is very nice for the price, don't know if anyone is using it with the DX50.

My dad was using it before he upgraded to the glacier. He quite enjoyed the combo with the HD25 ALU too.

I use the DX50 with the BH2 and love the combo...tried it with c5 and much prefer bh2....not to mention the better price. Enjoy!
