ZMF Verite Open. There are alot of Verite pics but I could not find any where you could see most of the magnet. So here it is.

I like these grills a lot, even though they're not something that's visible during use

How is the cup damping? Wondering where does the holographic soundstage comes from
Baffle holes are open. The cups have a cork ring and some fabric.
On the outside fabric has a different pattern so there might be more than one layer.

Take a peek inside Altiat CAL.1H's rear end

To me, it seems like the damping paper behind the vents under the diaphragm serves 3 purposes: 1: reduction of midbass to lower midrange, 2: Having a quick cheap fix for the backwaves resonance of the diaphragm and 3: getting more subbass extension by lowering the midbass through lower mids and tighter bass due to reducing airflow.
What you also get however if all the holes are sealed up, is a more edgy, resonant sound vs puncturing holes in it

I never understand why they use such thin wiring in headphones.Razer BlackShark V2 X
(4/10 OK tuning, but quite poor resolution)
Razer Kraken V3 X
(this headphone is a dumpster fire)
It looks to be 32awg wires.

I still think Sennheiser wins for the thinnest wires aka cat whiskers of all time.I never understand why they use such thin wiring in headphones.
