I did such a good job of quitting head-fi for a year to concentrate on enjoying my music library. I might have to come out of retirement for this headphone.

I hope it's not available in July as that would make too many units which would probably end up in qc issues. If they try to make bigger batches they might not put as much TLC and maybe have some Late Friday versions or whatever. Perfection is all we ask

I don't mind if the value doesn't double later on like hf1 (200->400+) which is ridiculous, but yea I hope they don't sell it for too long otherwise it's not as special.

you will know what everyone thinks of it in 5 days, personally if I couldn't afford a decent amp and source to go with it I would probably pass.
