As I've stated before, the Ibasso PB2 does one heck of a job as well and fits so nicely under the DX90

I own both and must admit that it's a real pleasure to listen to Diana Krall's voice through my HD650s, DX90 & PB2.

Senns are also connected to the hirose's output of the Pelikan.

You were using the K10 in gold, right? :) Can only dream of this combo right now lol, although I'm quiet happy with the SE846 straight out of the DX90, its a pleasure every time

When I joined HF last year in the DX50 thread, I remember I saw pictures of Sorensiim's ''golden'' K10 for the first time. They looked awesome and his description of the SQ was so positive that I thought “Man, would I like to try these, but I'll never spend so much money on an iem''. Now they're on top of my wishlist (with the JH13 on 2nd & 1p2 on 3rd ) for next year

I also enjoy my current iem's and for this year I've spend all my audio budget. I have 2 kids that need food, clothes & presents, besides that lots of bills to pay and in the end it's all about priorities right?

Well I didn't know the DX90 could sound this good. Just upgraded from Westones W40s to SE846s. I like the Westones, but wow, the natural decay of instruments on latest Imelda May album with these Shures has taken things up a level that I'd never heard in portables before. I became a convert away from full size HiFi last year after hearing a fellow forum friend's Sony ZX1 and JH17s. But sure it didn't surpass this sound. Never heard double-bass sound do good, its like being in front of the rockabilly group in a small club.

I tried my 846 with my brother ZX1, I just don't like the ZX1 bass kind of mixed up.

Just wondering if anyone has tried using the dx90 for pc gaming? I currently have the dx50 but the audio lags behind the action, does the dx90 have this issue as well? I'm just looking for something that can function as my pmp as well as handle my pc audio needs.

As used for a dap for low-end iems(havi b3 pro1) and for some modded fostex t50 from time to time, how drastic of a difference would the dx90 be over the fiio x3? In your opinions?

Looking to buy the DX-90 soon, any recommendations on where to buy (and does anyone know of any deals this blackfriday on the DX-90 - saw a few for the FiiO X3)?

Don't think there any many deals for the DX90.

Perhaps Amazon or direct from iBasso?

Im having more trouble with my player. I copy files to the SD card, put it into my player, let it scan, then when i select a song from the directory structure it doesnt play. It just sits there with the "ready" widget there. Why would that be?
