Today I've noticed my DX90 has stereo balance moved a little bit to the left (5% according to rockbox balance tool). Only on HO, LO balance is ok. Reinstall firmware and sfactory reset does not help. Any ideas?

Try switching the gain switch a few times, I had the same a while back and it turned out my gain switch had gone to a half position.

do i need an SD adaptor for the dx or the sd card alone is fine ?

actually, what is the use of a SD adaptor - i saw it offered on amazon in some sd card packs

The SD adapter, is just that, a way to adapt the micro SD card to a SD slot or reader. I use the adapter when plugging a micro SD into my Macbook pro computer and use one with the HM 901, since it only takes SD cards.

You could use the adapter with your laptop if your laptop has a SD slot. My Mac computer does so it is handy.

Agreed.  The SD slot on my son's laptop is at least twice the speed of the DX90's connection.

  Again I used the DX90 plugged into my Aux of my car for a 1900 mile trip and it was a joy. So much better than the CD player in the FJ Cruiser and the sound was dynamic and incredible sounding. Love it. 

nice to know you are enjoying your fj cruiser. i mean the dx90.

  just got my re600 and wow does it turn into a real songbird with the DX90.  amazing separation and detail unamped straight from the phone out - nice presence and not shouty at all. looks like i've just found my unamped portable pair for now.

Any 5v charger with a micro USB connector such as those used for cellphone recharging will work just fine.

I like the Samsung as it is 2 amps and delivers whatever the DX90 wants for mA in charging. I find it charges the fastest for me/the DX90. They can be purchased on Amazon at a very good price.
