Just an FYI, that's a great deal for the headphones, but I wouldn't expect that the Bluetooth adapters will still work. Those haven't been produced in years, so the batteries are very old in those.
I bought a pair (well, actually two!) in December 2022, when they were on sale for 49.99. They have become my favorite IEMs. (Please note that I do not own particularly fancy IEMs.) Until reading this message today, I had used them only wired and had never tried the Bluetooth adaptor. Well, they paired up immediately with my Microsoft Surface and indeed worked wirelessly! According to the Surface, the adapter was is 20% charged. I have not tried the microphone. I have not done any critical comparative listening, but it seems to me that the the "wired" sound is much better. The unit beeped every now and then; according to the manual, it is supposed to beep every 5 minutes when battery is low, so I suspect this is the case. (I had not charged it before pairing, trusting the manual instructions that the "Bluetooth cable comes partially charged.) After some use, it beeped for a longer while, then stopped working. I am recharging it now. I will try to follow up and let you know whether the adaptor indeed recharged.

Yeah, some of them might be OK. These are just quite old, so there’s no way to be sure that they will work.

Yeah IDK if that %20 deal is still going on but just an FYI for Secondipity, recommend searching for "headphones" or whathaveyou because some of their listings don't show up when browsing through categories (for instance they have/had some nice Sony DAP and the MDR-Z1R available too but these were not visible in the headphone category afaict).

but they still have the imbalance issue from the pot
From the Ifi website: “We’ve also upgraded the volume potentiometer, carefully selecting it for best channel balance at low volumes, thereby rectifying Left/Right tracking even at low volumes which is not found in far higher end equipment.“
