Samsung 990 PRO 1TB SSD - $90

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHJJ9Y77

Same price on Newegg. 2TB also on sale.
Sorry to say but this is not a deal, I'd actually say it's a bad deal. 2 TB NVME drives (even top tier) are going for this price and 99% of people won't notice a difference between a $40/TB drive and a top tier drive. You're also paying a Samsung tax, which in the past was maybe worth the premium, but they had some issues with the 980 series so I really can't say that anymore. The competition is too fierce to be paying $90/TB even for a top tier drive.

If you absolutely must have the fastest of the fast buy a gen 5 drive but most motherboards don't support that yet.

A quick mod note and reminder: the Deals Discussion thread is for sharing and discussing deals found across the web. Commenting whether or not something is a deal is welcome under the guidelines outlined in the OP.

4. Please keep all discussion related to the deals that are posted. Discussions about gear pairings and comparisons belong in their respective gear threads.

Saying "This is/isn't a deal" and explaining why it's not a deal and where it can be found for less is welcome. And as always, people may not agree. Please keep in mind that not all deals posted will be actual deals, and it's OK to explain why. Let's please keep the chat friendly; we're all in this thread to potentially save a few bucks on audio gear. Thanks everyone.

Cayin RU6 for ~$180 new on Aliexpress (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256803415100681.html) after you use site-wide Aliexpress code HOT40. If you have not followed Cayin's Official Store on Aliexpress, they do have a "$5 off $200" that also can be applied if you scroll to the middle of their store homepage (https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1101527489). I am not sure if that second code is modified per customer and I can no longer see it on my end, so it does appear to be a hard one-time use. The HOT40 also is a one-time use per customer code. To my knowledge, this is the cheapest a new RU6 unit has ever been.

I'm not disputing how much of a deal this is or not. I'm not totally up to date on the Samsung SSD drive issues. Usually, the top tier drives are more consistent in performance and reliability versus lesser-known brands. I do agree, most people will not notice any significant difference between the top-tier and generic brands because they will not be doing anything demanding enough to notice. Playing audio definitely is not one of them.

End of the day, I appreciate someone pointing out they're may be a deal to be had if one was looking for a new storage drive.

No. How do I know? I added to cart. Tried to check out (I'm in the US). It was a no go.
The Amazon Canada site shows Beyer DT880 Premium 600 Ohm for $170. Is that in CAD or USD, if I'm looking at it from US? If that is CAD, that is a good deal. If it is USD, then just buy it from Amazon US.

The Amazon US site is $172 or $179.
This one is $172, with storage bag https://amzn.to/444ISO5
This is $179 https://amzn.to/3qKv5hb
