Ha ha, just my luck. I had just ordered a Saga plus a couple days ago and have been waiting for it to arrive. It now costs $300 instead of $400. Not wanting to miss a sale price - I just ordered another, and asked if this order can be cancelled and the original price adjusted.Schiit first ever Black Friday Sale: https://www.schiit.com/b-stocks
Fantastic deal on a classic headphone that tends to stay in people's collections for a LONG time.
Several other "open back" headphones are on "Black Friday Sale" at Drop. See https://www.head-fi.org/threads/the-deals-discussion-thread-read-the-first-post.692119/page-2240. Notable is the HD 58X for $129 at https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-x-sennheiser-hd-58x-jubilee-headphones. I think that I am in the minority, but I own both the 58X and the 6XX, and I use the 58X much more. My suspicion is that the 58X is a better choice if you have a less capable amplifier.
I can connect this to a Mojo 2 via USB-C, correct? One of the last under-$100 DAPs from a reputable company, $50. Read reviews, which have some reservations; firmware has been updated since the review, FWIW.

But at least it exists. Nice flat FR.

Your comment mentions that song transfer is possible via USB-C. Unless I misunderstood, that’s reads like it can pair with the mojo 2.From the review,

no you can't:
The xDuoo X2S only has a 3.5mm SE, gold-plated headphone output. As mentioned above, there is no line-out, nor does it support USB connection to Dongles or other amplifiers with this type of connection. It has a USB Type-C charging/data port, through which song transfer is possible. Nothing else.
Typically when people say a DAP has a "song transfer" mode, they mean the DAP can act as a USB storage device so you can plug it into a computer and it will mount as a drive (computer is host, DAP is peripheral in that scenario). When people say a DAP supports using an external USB DAC/amp/dongle, they mean the DAP will act as the host and the DAC/amp/dongle will be the USB peripheral (basically an external sound card connected by USB to the DAP). Two totally different modes. A DAP acting as a storage device connected to a USB DAC/amp/dongle would be connecting two peripherals together with no host, and neither will be able to talk to the other.Your comment mentions that song transfer is possible via USB-C.
