That’s bull crap, I just ordered a pair and asked Tim an employee of theirs, and he said that all the 2021 version titled lcd x’s are the revised versions. Also, you can check by their serial number when you get them just to be sure.

Yeah I was just talking with Mark from Audeze, he called me to confirm that all LCD X B-Stock are 2021 revision, he wasn't sure about it on my first call.

EDIT: And they just updated on their website that is the 2021 revision, great! Bad for my wallet tho xD

So I noticed that Burson Audio was having a sale: https://www.bursonaudio.com/shop/

But they have a flat shipping rate of $55 (at least on their amps).

So I went to https://www.headphones.com/collections/burson-audio and put the same Burson product in my cart: free shipping.

But headphones.com's regular price was still more than the sale items on Burson's site, even with that site's steep flat shipping rate added to the total price.

So I thought, since headphones.com says they'll price match, why not ask if they will match the Burson site sale prices and see if free shipping still applies.

I contacted headphones.com via email yesterday, and they haven't yet gotten back to me (EDIT: they actually did reply quickly the same day, but somehow I missed the email which verified that they'd match the Burson official site price...I should also note here that I had a few brief exchanges with 2 people at headphones.com and the customer service was both very speedy and excellent, among the best I've experienced), but I saw tonight that many of their Burson products were reduced to the Burson site prices, including the one I wanted.

So I put that into my cart and yes, still free shipping (and no tax), making it cheaper in total than the same product on the official Burson site. Sold!

This is only the prices on headphones.com as of now, and for me a customer in the US.

EDIT: It seems that Bloom Audio also now has Burson products on sale https://bloomaudio.com/collections/burson-audio at the same price as the official Burson site. It seems shipping is free too (and I think no tax too where I am at; I didn't go so far as to confirm the payment so I can't be totally sure).


tl;dr: Burson products on their official site https://www.bursonaudio.com/shop/ are on sale, but their $55 flat shipping rate on their amps is pricey; https://www.headphones.com/collections/burson-audio and https://bloomaudio.com/collections/burson-audio now have many of the Burson audio products on sale at the same price as the official Burson site, but with free shipping, making the total cost less.
