Headphoneus Supremus
I hope I am wrong, but I have the same intuition…. The supply chain issues are going to make for lean inventories and stingy discounts this holiday season….Sennheiser has brought back their full MSRP headphone pricing:
I received an Amazon Cart Price increase notice for the HD660s from $379.95 to $499.99, so I checked the product listing on Amazon and it still shows $379.95... so I checked the other Amazon listed sellers prices, and the big retailers Crutchfield, bhphoto.com, and Adorama are back to $499.99 - they were discounted before now.
I checked Sennheiser.com, and the HD660s listing has changed back to $499.99, HD800s back to $1599.99, HD650 $499.99, HD820 $1999.99

If you want to get the Sennheiser HD660s for the discounted price of $379.95 from Amazon/Amazon, now might be the last time...maybe till the Holiday sales... if then.

IDK if prices are in transition before the Holiday sales to make the Black Friday sales prices look good, or if this is another product pipeline scarcity related change, but either way $379.95 is a pretty good price right now.
It may only take a couple of days for all of the retailers to raise their prices, Good luck![]()
But, I think there is a bit of a silver lining… All of that cargo sitting on a fleet of container ships will eventually get unloaded and have to go somewhere, all the while manufacturers will continue to stuff the front end of the pipeline with new products. Sometime in 2022 I suspect we will start to see some amazing deals… maybe.
