^Thanks. Despite being late in all things here, I'm pondering on the CL2.

I also wonder if its worth it at the $450 mark still. Alot of competition nowadays.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this considering reported shortages in the US (but also considerate and kind of funny in a "the times we live in" kind of way, )- Penon are offering "customer reinforcements" for the pandemic, 25 pack of masks if you order one of the higher priced things that ship DHL by default.

Perhaps if you know any US-based audiophile doctors or nurses ---> https://penonaudio.com/covid-19-customer-reinforcements.html

Yeah, miniature planar & cereamic shell tech is very cool, but seem pretty divisive in impressions. Looking at crin's graphs it's very similar looking to the unmodded FD01, idk if you have heard those but can be pretty dang bright (& I say that as one of the few people that kind of like unmodded FD01).

Floyd Rose Headphones, Black (FR18B) on Amazon for $13. They're OK, but $13 is a steal. Great for a gift. The wooden case it comes with is super-posh.

Any chance you can provide the inside and outside dimensions of that case? Thanks.
I don't have them right now, but off memory, probably around 10.5" x 7.5" x 3" (exterior). Again, I don't have them on hand, so this is just my best guess. I ended up returning when I originally purchased them for over $100, and they're not worth that in terms of sound, but for $13, shoot, I try to mod them somehow.

They should market the box and say it comes with free headphones
HAHA, pretty much!

They aren't bad, but they are nowhere near the premium market they're targeting. Good for on the go use, a gift for a teen or college student, or just a pair to play with and mod.

Looks like they've sold out already!

For fellow Aussies (and Americans who use shipping services I guess),

Sony IER-M7 for $550 (equivalent to $329 USD! Typically sells for $498 USD): https://addictedtoaudio.com.au/products/sony-ier-m7-professional-in-ear-headphones
Sony IER-M9 for $1050 (equivalent to $630 USD! Typically sells for just under $1K USD): https://addictedtoaudio.com.au/products/sony-ier-m9-professional-in-ear-headphones

They've also got an iSine 20 demo unit for $500 AUD if you're interested in that. No IER-Z1R sale this time around.
Focal Clear is $1399 AUD as well.
