Yup checked out Visions flyer and they had better deals 2 weeks ago...

About the only decent looking deal I have seen is the Bluetooth ANC 950 from Sony and everyone has the same price on it at 50% off and it only good if you like bass heavy sound.

BestBuy has last years MDR1000X on sale but it is last year's product versus the new V2 model...

OH missed one thing Visions now has the HE400i on sale for $278CAD which is as good as the US prices after figuring difference in the dollar.

Should be able to get it for that everywhere

What about the fostex Th500rp for $150? Is that a good deal? This is from https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_132423_Fostex-TH-500RP-Open-Box-Complete.html

I received mine yesterday. And it looks brand new, not returned or displayed. I already ordered the second pair. One thing missing might be the American warranty card, I only found the Japanese warranty card.

Thanks for the poster and Sonix for such good deal for such wonderful headphones!!!!

Thanks so much to topgunsphd and Meewoo - the Fostex Th500rp have such mixed reviews, but I took a punt.
Got them last night - had time to listen a bit - oh my - they are seriously engaging - so wonderfully textured and luscious - do you like cheescake, whiskey and warm slippers? these are the 'cans for you. (Translation - if you love the Sennheiser HD700 avoid the Th500rp like boiled cabbage; if you really like the Nighthawks - keep a look out for the Th500rp - they're absolutely scrumptious!).
Caveats - all listening done with my ears (of course, ha!); also they need good amping and source; they don't show potential from daps (well not the Pono); they have a very intimate soundstage; and sound very different from HE560 (the only other planar I've spent time with).

Sorry for slightly off topic - but if any more Fostex Th500rp go on sale, they are worth considering.

On topic, I have not tried the following, don't know how they sound; but these prices seem pretty good at Sonic (with free shipping):
Phiaton Chord MS 530 (MS530) for $60
https://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_95331_Phiaton-Chord-MS-530-MS530.html
Westone TS1 (79298) Talk Series In Ear Monitor Headphones for $31

https://www.sonicelectronix.com/ite...98-Talk-Series-In-Ear-Monitor-Headphones.html

Happy Thanksgiving - and thanks to everyone for taking time to post deals.:beerchug:

Emotiva is selling off their Emotiva brand cables for 50% off ($8 shipping if order is less than $49)
https://emotiva.com/

Caveats: these seem well built cables; I've had a few of these and quite liked the usb cables (which are only $5 at the moment); but I didn't like how the rca and power cables sounded on my 2 channel system.
But then again to my ears cables do make a difference and I know many folks think this is a delusion for folks with more money than sense (using this quotient, I should barely be able to lace up my own shoes, with my single digit IQ :L3000:)

HA!!!! Imho definitely delusional, but once that horse has left the barn there is nothing you can do about it, and you will hear differences no matter what you do.

I had been waiting for emotiva's annual holiday sale, but then saw that they announced in April no more time based sales...just the best price all the time. I hope that works for them, it almost killed J.C. Penny. Those of us who watch deal threads like this want holiday sales, coupons, etc., even if in reality it means higher prices the rest of the year. I guess emotiva thinks that's delusional. Probably right, will try the shoe lace thing myself.

Thanks for the heads up! I won’t get into the cable debate here (I lean towards the opinion that they do) but I would love to get a pair of Kimber Monicles or some such (on the cheap) because they look so freaking cool!
