Does the code work on the already on sale Nighthawks? Often, sale items are not included in these discount codes. (if so, this could be bad news for me in my quest not to buy any gear this holiday season...)

I'm not sure! You could probably add to cart and apply code to find out. If it says no, no worries I'd imagine. Just cancel order!

The only headphones of interest I see is the Focal Utopia for $3399.15, the Hifiman HE-6/X(v2) for $1104.15, and the Focal Elear for $849.15 and I guess the Nighthawk for $296.44

Yes, The price on Focal Elear is very good price indeed since they are new model from Focal. It is listed on Wall of Fame from Innerfidelity.
