Good to see that Focal isn't buying into that marketing gimmick. Bi-amping serves no real purpose for sound improvement unless one uses an active crossover, and home audio speakers with dual sets of posts in this price range aren't setup for that.

Yeah, but you are like 1 out of 100. The intention of those dual binding posts is so hifi shops can sell biwire cables to people who have only a single amp or are doing that useless AVR bi-amping thing. That's what most people are doing with it. Woot sold for $38 plus $5 ship a few weeks ago and I bought them.  

They are very nice. 2 way balanced armature top, dynamic driver bass.  Look to be well constructed, heavy ceramic like plastic housing. Lots of silicone tips.

Extremely comfortable.  Very efficient, no amp required for sure. 

Sound is well balanced, very detailed, good bass, detailed smooth mids,...a bit of tizz at the top end that I hope will be reduced with time or different tips.  I am using Sony hybrid tips which I think reduce the brightness a bit.

Man I lost my pair of BA200s on a trip a couple weeks ago. I got them from Ross' a couple years ago and what a deal! I was hoping this could replace them but... The code is no longer valid :/
