If dropping the HD800 price is screwing customers that bought it for more, I guess I've been screwed, having bought the 650 at about $350, which I thought was a great price (and it was) 2 years ago.
^ Well that didn't take long to sell. lol
You think that's fast, there was a HD800 for $841 as well, gone before I even was able to link it

It's still there--but showing none available, yet the "add to cart" button is still on the screen. Also the seller solicits contacts. This is very unusual for Amazon. I suspect that someone has found a loophole in the Amazon product listing system.

Is this a cruel April Fools gag?

That might their cover...but it doesn't quite wash with the "contact us" language.
20% off X3 (2nd generation) for owners of the original X3.

Limit to 200 customers.
This deal begins April 10th, but they just announced it, so I figured people may want to mark their calendars
Good deal but I'll stick with X3-1. I do like the OTG option.
Can you explain how the X3-2 will be different? What do you mean by an on-the-go option?
USB on-the-go.

So like using it as a DAC/AMP for your smartphone/tablet? I can see why Fiio is letting that function go since it has other (and cheaper) products without internal storage that do the same thing. I'm most disappointed by the X3-2's having less power than the original X3.
