I'm in the market for CIEMs, and I hear that some companies offer discounts for shows/canjams. I've already 'liked' all the companies' FB pages, in hopes that I don't miss an announcement. [ACS, Noble, 1964, JH Audio, Earwerkz]
 
Is this the right thread to subscribe if a deal for CIEMs come by?

you know honestly, I've seen better pricing for most of the headphones I'm interested in elsewhere even with the coupon codes on sonicelectronix (esp if you are okay with open box/demo/used products).

That is true to some extent but the current pricing they offer is usually better than other competitors. Like EVs have said to me, if you really want the headphones and know you will love it and use it, get it now and enjoy it. In either case, you can wait until it drops in price but you run the risk of waiting that long and then a new version of the headphone comes out. I'm usually the patient/waiting kind of guy and wait for low low prices, even if a new version comes out. But honestly, before the k7xx came out, I was going to buy a k712 from buysonic for $330 with tax (I'm in CA) and from I read, they offer great CS.

UE was offering some huge discount like 15-25% off or something.  I bet if you ask REAL nicely they might still honor it.

That coupon is almost a week old and the best I saw was the W40 for $360.
 
The HappyEars (15%) works on accessories though, just bought some headbands and earpads.

TBH I think the best deal for customs is going to a meet with the vendor. They usually offer 15%-20% and they take the impressions themselves. I don't know how many meet like that happen on your side of the planet, but if you can make it to the London meet, the discount would probably cover the cost of travel
