Forgive me if something changed with the rules and the OP wasn't updated, but shouldn't you not mention that site here?

You must have been gone for the last two months or so.  Something has indeed changed quite a bit.  Go search for the Massdrop K7xx.  :-D

Massdrop has been conveniently reclassified as a "headphone distributor" now. Even tho you still need to buy said product in a mass quantity.....

ahh i found the deals thread. maybe this will actually be useful to someone?

Koss UR55 Studio Headphones - $15.29 with bag sale at Menard's (pick up at store)

Pickup at store only. On clearance for $17.99 as long as there is stock, minus 15% discount with bag sale through this Sunday 1/4/15.

Menard's stock check

I work at Menard's but there's nothing in this for me, I just thought it was a good deal. With my employee discount they were 13.76. I might be willing to ship a few of them if I'm allowed and anyone is interested.....

you didn't hear it from me, but these are going on sale for 14.99 in a few days....... and i believe there is a 5$ mail in rebate for store credit. we also have the Monster DNA on the ear for 69 and i think i saw a mail in rebate for those too? its not on the website tho might only be at my store.

Speaking of the site formerly known as "The site that can't be named...", These are really nice iems (SQ wise, that is, fit/comfort/seal seems OK for some, problematic for others, including myself)...

what's the problem with group buy sites?

"group sites promoted on forms like this, will created unfair competition for regular retailer", this is how I read earlier in this thread.

An economist might argue that regular retail stores are slowly becoming irrelevant in a connected economy. Just saying :p
