I would be really interested in hearing about any modding.possibilities, and, of course, Keith is the man!

Merry Christmakuh, Devin! Good to hear from you.

I have not yet modified my K7XX. I'm enjoying them "as is," at the moment.

I tried many tuning materials and configs with my Q701 with mixed results. I removed the stock, porous adhesive "sticker" that overlays the rear bass port of each driver. I posted impressions and Before / After measurements in the K701 bass mod thread, if interested.

Happy Holidays, y'all.

Happy Holidays, y'all.

This is a pretty standard mod on the Q701.  My understanding is it's a bit much on the Annie/K712, which the K7XX is based off of.

Yes, not my idea. I just tried it on Q701 along with a lot other mods that didn't work or wouldn't fit.

I have not yet compared K7XX and Q701, head to head. K7XX seems to have a bit more bass the Q701 but that's just based on memory so probably not reliable.

if u want a seriously great can...grab this one.

I just received these.  While not of the caliber of most of the cans bandied about in head-fi, for $150 these are very nice sounding headphones.

Got my TTPOD's today, and after a brief listen, I'm convinced that they are the biggest bargain in iems that I've seen. Haven't had a chance for an A-B comparison with my Fidue A71 (which I love), but the TTPOD sound at least as good, plus they fit and stay in my ears better.  To think, I almost didn't buy these!

I agree with you 100%. These are shockingly good.

So musical, I actually rank them above some much pricier and well regarded IEMs I have. They are a absolute bargain at the retail price. The sale price was mind blowing for how good they sound.

These are some of the best listening IEMs I've heard regardless of price.

Me too!  Best offer I have had is $999 from BuySonic but I would like better than that.

probably won't get that much better than that for a new pair. the best price I ever saw for these were $800ish from amazon during some lightening deal or something weird a year or ago. they were all gone in under an hour. you can contact buysonic directly and ask for additional savings. probably can save a few more bucks but unlikely to get under the $900 price point.

Can you give me the code and link to get it at 999$ from busying ?

I don't have a link.  It was one of their deals where I had to send them a message on their website and they got back to me with an e-mail.  If you call them I expect there is a chance they might do it.
