If i have 320kbps MP3s not flac, and fiio X3 with hd650, will that be a significant improvement over hd598 with no amp?

The ESP-950s are incredible.  I prefer them over my T1 and HD800 almost always.  Effortless, rich sound.  Lightning quick too.  Only thing lacking sometimes is the bass.

I disagree with the bass, remove the foam and presto, super tight, and pronounced bass. Not nearly as much impact as my he-4, but the attack is there and superior to the hd800. Not looking forward to returning my loaners to their owner...
