I have 4 phonaks and the 232 is the most expensive and the one that feels more fragile.

I found the super foam tips to be too firm for me with very little give.  The gels are just odd.

Odd, bad set maybe? they're super soft on 2 sets I purchased of medium foam

Amazon had that, but along with BuySonic and a few other retailers offering the same price.
Although they were all sold out in a few hours, Amazon sold out before the deal even begin...
 

like new HD650s will probably be popping up in classified in the next few weeks as those who bought and do not like them will sell.

I bought these during the earlier $50 deal.

I got cold feet and wanted to cancel the order because I had already spent too much.

But I got too busy and the cans had already shipped before I got to it (2 day shipping).

Just unpacked them and gave a listen. They sound great! Glad I didn't cancel that order!

I also own the v.2 of these cans, but have barely used them. Based on what others have said, these v.1 cans are supposed to sound better, the latter version having a bloated bass.

I think this is a really good sounding can, and a great price on them.
