What's a good price on a new pair of Audeze LCD-2s?

The Audeze deals on buysonic is some kind of mystery. As far as i know, people haven't seen all HPs price listed there.
 
For what i have seen on their site, LCD2 was $ 799. Not sure about the XC price.

Buysonic is going to have a deal that starts in 10 hours or so. No one knows what the price is though.

If the LCD-2 comes back from BuySonic, I wonder if I should return my HD 650 for $500 CAD and get the LCD 2 shipped to Canada....

I would do it and take my chances.  The O2 may not be the best amp but It will probably be fine and you can always get a better amp later.
 
I have owned the HD650 and I have listened to the LCD2.  I have owned the HD650 and they are totally different.  I did not think much of the HD650 because I thought they sounded really rolled off at the high end.

If the HD650 you have now is running fine, the LCD-2 will run fine. The LCD-2 has about the same voltage requirements, and the O2 doesn't have any problem with the lower impedance.

For the DAP shoppers, Amazon has the DX90 at $360 (which is like ten bucks more than Mass Drop is going to charge - even if they get to the lowest price).

Honestly, they weren't on my radar at all, hadn't heard about them, 40% is a nice discount, what does anyone know about these, and how they compare to the usual suspects?

I have the X3 and the dx90, had the Hisound Anniversary 3, dx90 kills Hisound imo, don't use X3 any more, think dx90 better soundingbut haven't really listened head to head), user interface much better on DX90 (though some have said recent firmware updates have improved X3. Still, sits untouched, if I ever get around to selling stuff, it would go, DX90 I use every day.

Hidizs AP100 $194 & change at  Amazon. Based on some glowing reviews  at Head-Fi, I had to jump on this. I hope that this pairs well with the FIDUE A71 that I also bought ($80 at Amazon). If anyone knows of a case for the AP100 that allows a lanyard, I'd be interested.

I've had my eye on them for at least a year. Beautiful mids (better than my 846, TBH), snappy bass (punchier than my JH13, but less so than the 846), all around fun and musical sound. Also one of the only few silicon customs out there. PS, I just jumped on these.
