On the other hand, the CAL price is not very tempting. I became aware of this HP on this thread and its a very nice one. Think i have paid 68 on amazon

I bought the sennheiser HD 650 for around 500 cad, should I return to amazon and pay 300 for LCD 2 or 470 for HD 800, the amp I have is the o2 is it sufficient enough to power it and is it even worth it?

I'd go for the lcd 2 if you only got an o2, not too a big fan of pairing the hd800 with an o2 personally.

That CA3 IEM for $60 is a heckuva deal. If you like a mid-centric sound with great clarity, it's for you. Comparable to the Shure 525 for $399 some would say

I had the SE535. I liked the sound very much, but not comfort. I have comfort issues with IEMs. Hope CAL3 will be different.
 
Right now CAL3 its $99 on creative site. It will be $59 on nov 28.

I highly recommend the HD 800--especially under $1,000.  If you can fit it into your budget, it's a fantastic can.  Only the HE-6 at under $700 for a blink of an eye this summer was a better deal for a quality flagship headphone.
