From memory of what I have read in the the threads, the electrostatic headphone is suppose to be very good, comparable to the Japanese electectrosts in same price range. Wouldn't turn my noise up at it.

I don't know if there's any strings attached, but London Drugs is selling the Shure SE535 for 300$, which seems like a crazy deal.

On ebay from (claiming to be, but I'll let you research it further) an authorized dealer is a Sennheiser HD700 and Fostex HPA4 dac/amp for $780 for both. It is one listing. A quick search will find it, as I can't link it from my eBay app.

Warranty says its for the original purchaser but maybe they don't practically make a big deal about it.
