Someone at the meet on Saturday preferred the HE560 to the HE6... so there's that if it means anything. Of course it's all preferences but just showing it's ability to win people over the flagship is saying something. Buy it... (and that's my pic on the front page
It takes all kinds.
Some people are very, very sensitive to treble, and that can turn them off to the HE-6s, which can sometimes get a little sibilant with some material. The STAX SR-009s are the same way, in fact I consider the HE-6 to be kind of a "baby SR-009" with a slightly rougher edge.

That's what my friend said. He spends outragerous amount of money on the speakers and headphones, he told me he6 with the proper amp beats sr009 in the "best value for the money" category but bit behind in the sound quality.
Since then he sold all his headphones except he6.

I've bought from Razor Dog. He's a good, trustworthy seller. My guess is the "instant rebate" is actually him just knocking some money off the price.

I agree. Razordog has great prices and promotions and Brian will respond quickly if you have questions. If your concerned about the instant rebate, just contact him. He'll let you know what promotions/prices he can offer. I will definitely be buying from Razordog in the future. Peace of mind is worth something to me.
