The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)

Great deal on the E12. I bought one at full price and one when it was on sale over the holiday.

Yes, the E12 blows away the E11. No question. It's a substantial upgrade.

The only reason I use my E11 now is when I'm in the field working and need an amp that don't mind it getting dirty or scuffed up.

Otherwise, I never feel the urge to use the E11 when the E12 is on hand.

No, it's not as cheap as you can sometimes find the E11 for. But if you think the E11 is giving you good sound, you are likely to be much happier with the E12.

(Btw, the E12DIY is even better than the regular E12, but that's another discussion)

I'm pretty much just using my E11 at work right now until I get a Geek Out or something similar.  Once I have that, I plan on jumping to the E18 (or maybe the mythical Geek Wave Model S depending on the timing and how the GO sounds) for using on the go.  I don't have much use for the E12 really.

Hmm...  an E12 seems promising.  Strap that thing on the back of my X3 :)

Pretty sure I remember reading the X3 was built with people using the E12 as an Amp in mind. I've used the X3 --> E12 and it sounds great, though I prefer my X3 --> Mustang atm :)

Still for $99 very good price, just keep in mind those are B-Stock. More than likely just returns and stuff, but still

Some B stock can be pretty rough, some can be virtually new.  My he-400 was bought as b stock, and it was spotless.  The Mustang is what, a Ray Samuels amp?

Dang it! I had to take advantage of the FiiO E12 deal on Headroom. I can't wait to compare to my JDS Labs O2 amp on my new HE-400 HPs.

This site is dangerous.

Considered it myself, but from what I've heard I won't really need/appreciate them.

From what I can gather, most disliked the hd700 because they didn't think its performance held up to its original 1000 msrp, or its current 850 one. It is still a very good headphone, so I wouldn't write it off without doing a bit of research or auditioning first.
