From reading Innerfidelity's reviews...seems pretty much for bassheads. Its a fun headphone, just not an "audiophile" headphone.

 
I wonder if it's similar to the HE-300 in regards to being "bassy".

If X1 are for Bassheads, how good will L1 be? ... a semi-open can. I think it should be a better choice for a basshead? Please help me as I see L1 going for $161 currently,
