Cowboom has a coupon for 20% off, expires on 1/6/14. Promo Code NUEVA20

Coupon + Beyerdynamic DT1350 (new) (http://www.cowboom.com/product/1077917) for $184.99 = DT1350 for $148.79 (with free ground shipping)

Awesome deal!

Same with the Amperior. Every time I see the 1350 at a great price I want to buy one. Until I remember the head clamp. Bummer... But a great deal for those who are man enough...or don't wear glasses. Which may or may not be the same thing...

Bought both amperior and 1350 during this holiday sale season, would recommend Amperior over 1350 imo. Like them better (have a comparison thread on Head-Fi). If only 1 available, the 1350 are nice in their own right, but head to head the Amperiors are the more enjoyable headphone, imo again.

Didn't see this here yet. I saw this on Slickdeals.
FiiO X3 with 64gb SanDisk mSDXC card and some cables. $199.99.
Not the cheapest ever (think geek had a b1g1 free deal in November for a limited time sitewide, including this x3) but for retail price it comes with a $30-35 card and cables.

I tested both. I will vote for Amperior but what I don't like about Amperior is the headband. DT 1350 sound good too, but not to my liking since it's kinda flat for me. And, give Amperior 48 hour burn in and the sound will improve (in my case).

Fit on all these phones is a very individual thing, I find, don't have a problem with these, but often do have fit problems. Some, like Senns, can be tried at some Best Buy stores, but often it's pot luck.

Newegg has the Sennheiser Amperior's for $139.00 with free shipping, last time they did this they sold out, at $129 before, but this is still a great deal. The new HD 25 Aluminum is basically the same headphone with a slightly different driver 70 vs 18 Ohms in the Amperior. Waiting for mine to arrive, free 3 day shipping

I grabbed these last week at the $129, definitely worth it. The only gripe I have is that they do look a little "cheap" with the small headband and exposed wires, but the sound is fantastic. I'm not too used to on-ear though.

Also snagged the UE6000s for $70, and while they're not as good sound quality wise, I do prefer over ear.

Also the Beyer 990s are $149 on Amazon, Prime capable right now, I think they were around this same price on BF

Could you go into more detail about the sound quality between Amperior and UE6000? I placed an Amperior order and am thinking of grabbing the UE6000s too. How does the subbass compare between the two, and how are the high-mids and highs on the UE6000? I was looking at graphs on innerfidelity and was concerned at the sharp drop after 1KHz (Amperior holds flat until 2KHz) and lack of 8KHz peak on the UE6000s.

I know this is not a deal. I got a Sennheiser HD580. I bought in 2006 and I didn't open it until now. Should I sell it or open it now?

What headphone is best to accompanied HD580? Is dt990 pro 250ohm or dt880 pro 600ohm can do what HD580 can't do?

Yeah, that might be the deal breaker for some people.

Your credit card info goes to Aliexpress and not the seller though, which is more reassuring.

As much as I'd like to order a few pairs of those, having to use a credit card instead of Paypal is a big 'no no'.

To good to be true and only credit card option just isn't worth the potential hassles down the road.
