The Bowers and Wilkins P7 over the ear headphone does not appear to be discounted much. You can try it out at some Best BUY and Apple stores. The price is just under $400. Best BUY does give you 5% back in rewards and they currently have a $15 gift card bonus, so you can save some money that way.

The replacements for the SP-BS21-LR, called SP-BS22-LR, are available for $99 at Best Buy (at least; until tomorrow, you get a $15 gift card if you spend at least $100 at Best Buy).  Robert Reina compares the two in his review of the SP-BS22-LR at http://www.stereophile.com/content/pioneer-sp-bs22-lr-loudspeaker.  He also reviewed the larger SP-BS41-LR (http://www.stereophile.com/content/pioneer-sp-bs41-lr-loudspeaker) but did not (as far as I remember) directly compare them to the others.
