Just a quick note: bought the Senn IE80 on the US NCIX site Black Friday for $200. They charged my card, but never shipped the IEM. When I contacted them they told me they were discontinued (presumably from their site) and asked if I would prefer to buy something else or get my money back.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I've demo'd them at a Brookstone and found them average. They don't do anything really well with the exception of looking good. Amazon will need to cut their cost in half for me to have any interest.  Also, I noticed that the cushions on the two units at Brookstone were mashed down so I suspect this might happen if you use them frequently.
