Don't like Amazon Warehouse not factory authorized and no warrant. Ok for inexpensive items but with major buys its a crap shoot. At least they let you return it.

Theres always a good chance you will get a like new item for a good price. I ordered something a while ago from AWS, it said like new but packaging may be damaged. Packaging wasnt even damaged just resealed lol. It was an open box of course but all was good and looked new too

So it seems as though the old switcheroo is happening regularly for Amazon warehouse items.

Last month I bought a pair of Sure SE846's from the Amazon Warehouse, but what I got when I opened the box was a pair of SE215's, that's about a $900 price difference new, talk about frustrating.

Ohhh heeeell nooooo, What!? That is just awful!

I have no problem with quality of item it's the no warrant. You spend $300 or $400 and it craps out after 30 day return window your screwed.
The used and used like new item can usually be found by authorized seller with a warrant for a little more but worth the extra.

Seems like the same pair of SE215 masquerading as SE846 showed up again in AWD.  Sigh.  Time to call Amazon to return it.

I once bought a pair of etymotic electronic earplugs on AWD, and it came with everything except the earplugs! Case, packaging, different tips, no plugs. Makes me wonder who actually inspects these packages. When I called them, they told me not to bother to ship it back and they refunded my card.

Philips SHP9500 on Newegg for $49.99.

These are fantastic phones! I paid $62 and would have been happy if I had paid $162. By the way, if you don't like the large white L and R on the cup wire screen, a black permanent marker will cover them. It is so easy (2 minutes) and they look like they came made that way. I used the standard size Majic Marker brand. Personal choice is a wonderful thing. I read a post where the user liked these better than the L1s.
