The Deals DISCUSSION Thread (READ THE FIRST POST!!!)

Hmmm....other posts got in between my slow phone post and the one I was writing about...The ML 90's were what I was referring to. Either ML made a kazillion that they couldn't sell, or they have gotten a new lease on life at the lower price (if they did get revived, it is likely all the Head-Fi posting and enthusiasm that brought them back from the dead

(actually, my original post was right after the ML sale post, you must have just read Blue's quote...)

It's the zombie craze in full effect. The SQ of the phone reflects this.

Exactly what I had in mind, heh heh heh....
(been watching much too much Supernatural-in catch up mode, just watched the episode in Black and White which was a take off on the old monster movies (Dracula, the Mummy, etc), that was so much fun. My 16 year old couldn't appreciate it as much, since she hasn't seen most of these, but I grew up on reruns of these on TV.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, whooooooooooooosh, I hev come to suck your blood, HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!!!!)

Do deals ever happen on mp3 players these days? I remember Sansa Clips hit $20 like every other week back in the day and I need something simple like that to plug into computer speakers for my bedroom! But I don't want to pay $35..

Harmon Kardon CL Deal of the Day, $59.95-strange shape, but I like the sound of these. My wife appropriated my pair, so I ordered another...

I've already spent thousands of dollars on headphones due to this site! But seeing all those old deals for the Sansa Clip+ at $20 means I'd feel like I'm getting ripped off at $35. My point wasn't that I didn't want to spent $35 at all, it's that I didn't want to on that.

Does anyone know how this sounds compared to the BT?

My understanding is that they are the same phone, with or without Bluetooth

I wasn't sure, but I was fairly sure that was the case. The only other difference being the CL is on ear and the BT a shallow fitting over ear.
