Sale going on at TTVJ. 11% off used items. Just put them in the cart: http://www.ttvjaudio.com/category_s/1886.htm

The deal is highlighted on the front page, but I know I don't always visit it.

A pair of used HE-500 for $499 minus the 11% is a good deal.  I tried them out at the Central Florida meet last week and they are a great pair of cans.

This is just my opinion, but Beach Camera has been in business forever. Also, the T90 is too new to be being faked already, plus I don't actually know of fake Beyers yet. Sometimes reputable dealers are just looking for a way to move excess inventory without getting noticed or hammered by their distributors. When all else fails, use an American Express card if you can. They are your real warranty. They double the manufacturer's warranty on electronics (even refurbs!) and will gladly take a disputed charge off your card. Their philosophy is the customer (us) and not the retailer/etailer is right until proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that isn't the case. I've had their cards for 32 years and won't shop the internet unless the seller accepts AMEX (and no, I don't work for the compant).

Sorry,
I am new at this game, so maybe someone (moderator) can put this in the proper place. I just found a deal on Velodyne vTrue headphones at of all places, Wal-Mart online. They are $133 delivered (price just dropped to $125.62 today). I know they have mixed reviews, but that is when reviewers are talking about them being $250 - $400. I have to think at $126 they are a pretty darn good deal. I get them tomorrow. Price went back up to $137.50 tonight! Can anyone say ping pong?
