Well since it's using a Snapdragon chipset I don't think its anything special. I much prefer Cirrus and Wolfson chips over Snapdragons'.

Tomorrow at 11 AM EDT the Definitive Technology ProCinema 60.6 5.1 speaker system will be an Amazon lightning deal for a few hours. I have the older ProCinema 1000 as part of my main home system, and they can really sing. The 600 series is excellent for the price. Could be something to keep an eye on if you're looking for a home theater setup. Pairs great with Denon AVRs.

OK. You'd better be right. I'm trusting you. Or else I'll be out $10, dang it!

How do these compare to the Porta Pro, btw? I thought the PP sounded real good, but the bass was too soft and puffy. I kept wanting to switch to something else after listening to them because of that.

I suppose these would make a good gift if they don't work out.
