Ironic to see this just days after I went on an information rampage about this player--trying to find that if one shuts it off while listening to a podcast, the podcast would "resume" once it's turned on again.

The manual says nothing; and so far, 100s of user comments/Q&A pertain.

Does anyone know if the NW A55 has this common "resume" feature?

Although the Adorama deal on the Hifiman HE6SE V2 is over, the listing for the Hifiman HE560 V4 is still active, $269 discounted from $899:
https://www.adorama.com/hmhe560v4.html?emailprice=t
The He560 v4 are very nice. A bit peaky in some treble, but I modded it by using some Ether CX dampening pads. I believe there are a few mods out there to take care of this.

Thought and thought about the HE6SE when it was on sale. Will pull the trigger next time...

There are 2 pages - 36 units - of OB HE-560's, most at $229, I wonder why so many returns? Has anyone heard of any problems with the HE-560 models? Perhaps hard to drive?

Oddly, I cannot find any "OB/returned" Hifiman HE6SE V2's on Adorama.com...

There are some reports that the v4 doesn't sound exactly like the v2. That's pretty common with HiFiMan silent revisions. People expecting the headphone that they've read about in reviews from a few years ago may be disappointed. Also, the v2 is surprisingly hard to drive and can sound shrill and peaky when underdriven, which again may result in returns. I would suggest doing some research on this particular version and ignoring the sale price for the time being. With HiFiMan there's about equal possibility that this is a killer deal or that this headphone is not good enough to sell at the base price.

Wow, that’s a lot of open box units... the optics on that aren’t good. Adorama should have had just one link that people could buy from, but this way it definitely sends a troubling message.

As I previously mentioned, mine are quite good, but I did have to use some dampening to deal with an aggressive peak in the treble.

The new headband looks nice, but I have seen a few threads complaining about it being uncomfortable and putting the weight all in one spot on your head.
