I am going to travel to France for work in mid-December, and I will have a free day or two (a Sunday and a Thursday). I will probably spend them in Paris, which is an easy train ride away from where I will work (Compiègne). Any suggestions on deals or particularly interesting stores are welcome. Maybe there is a store that specializes in Focal or Devialet equipment? Which headphones (if any) would be less expensive in Paris than on amazon.com, especially with a budget under EUR 200? If there is another thread that is more appropriate for this kind of question, please direct me to it.

I had my friend purchase it 2 days back for 550, I'll have to check with him if he has been charged yet or not. Anybody here has any idea about what happens when someone orders the stuff from amazon but the price is reduced before the credit card gets charged?

I would contact Amazon support. They should adjust the price if it hasn't processed or issue a credit for the price difference.

You can initiate a chat with customer service through the order page to discuss price adjustment. I've had 3 things occur.

1. They adjust the price.
2. They don't adjust the price and I rebuy the item and return the previous one.
3. They can't readjust the price but give me give cards equal to our greater than the savings.

It seems to depend on who you speak to. I'm also a prime member if that matters.
