Now $500.00. May be for today only though

Beyerdynamic Xelento Remote $550.00 from the Beyerdynamic store on ebay.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/123657931944

I exchanged emails with the seller, Beyerdynamic, and was advised that these were review samples but were being sold as New (other) with full 2 year warranty.

If you reach out to the seller you may be offered a better price today to purchase them. Otherwise the price may drop for one day tomorrow if there are any left.

FYI for U.S. residents. Some here might already be familiar with Greentoe? For those who are oblivious, this is a website that allows you to do some online haggling. Sign up on the website, it's free. Find the product you're looking for. Make an offer you're willing to pay for product. Greentoe will get in touch with a network of national retailers they work with to see if anyone will agree with said offer. These are authorized resellers that deal with brand new products only. No grey market sellers.

While they don't offer every product or brand, they do have a respectable selection of products listed on their site and adding new ones regularly. I first found out about Greentoe back in November 2017 through another A/V site that I frequent. Some people have had luck with getting good deals through Greentoe on Photography, TV's and Home Theater equipment. While I have not personally dealt with Greentoe yet, I'll probably be giving it a shot when it comes time to purchasing a new TV. Apparently lots of people have gotten great deals via Greentoe for LG, Samsung and Sony TV sets.

As for headphones? I've yet to see anyone share their experiences when it comes to making an offer @ Greentoe. But here is the link to their selection of headphones. https://www.greentoe.com/category/Headphones

Just thought I'd share this for those who might find Greentoe useful for future purchases.

Forgot to add this to my previous post and decided instead of editing it, I'll just share this in a new post.

Pro tip I read from another user at a different site that has dealt with Greentoe. Look up the price history of the product you're interested in (via CamelCamelCamel, etc.) and find the lowest price that the product sold for in the past. Then use that price as a gauge for a starting offer and then slash another $25 - $100 off that price. The retailer will sometimes either accept the first offer or meet you halfway with a counter-offer.

Here's an example using a headphone currently being offered on Greentoe. Focal Clear Pro.

In the past, Adorama has sold this model for $999 over the 2018 Christmas holiday. In this scenario, make an offer somewhere between $900 - $975. When you're making the offer, there is supposedly a place where you can make a note saying that you have seen this product sell for $999 in the past. This basically gives you justification for your initial low offer. The retailers will either accept, reject or counter-offer your offer.

Thank you very much. I will look out for open box item if they come up in the future. :)

Assuming you're located in the U.S. and you're not in any hurry to purchase these, read the following posts:

Greentoe will eventually be getting the Grado GW100. If you're patient, Greentoe might be worth trying. See the following link:
