I took a chance with these since with an Amazon Prime credit card they were only $135 (and free one-day shipping to boot).

So far, I like 'em. The ear tips aren't that great, but I'm using a different set I have, and I ordered some Spinfits for $9. In terms of sound, they are better than my SE215, SE425 and Sony XBA-H1 (another hybrid IEM) but not as good as my ER4XR or SE846. Some of the reviews said they were too bassy, but I don't find that to be true (especially considering the SE846 are the usual IEMs I listen to). They are maybe somewhat V-shaped in sound, though not terribly so.

Overall, I think they're at least a good value for the sale price, though it will take further listening to say if they're a great value.

Thanks for the comments on the deal. It would be helpful to know which filter you use in the SE846. To be, the SE846 is here different IEMs, depending on which filter is used.
