There was a lot of talk about some of these deals being cancelled, but I received my new, sealed SE846 today .... I think it's rare to find these new at $750.

Great !!! Congrats

More Kef Earphone Deals...if you, like me, bought the $29 M100 IEMs...and you have Prime, you paid to much.

Amazon is matching the $29.00 price on the M100s, and discounting another 20% if you are a Prime member. So, $24.59 including tax for me. They are quickly running out of most colors, but your may be able to order and have delayed shipping. The 20% Prime discount does not show up on all colors.

This seems to be the only KEF headphone on sale. Price before this recent holiday deal was $150.

I just looked. At this point, the only vendor listing them is the KEF store, and their price is back up to $149.99. They do have the M200 for $99.99, though.

Maybe I'm out of the loop but why does this:

HiFiMan Edition X V2 Planar Magnetic Open Back Headphones - With iFi micro iDSD Black Label Edition

show up for 1299 at adorama then when you click on the link you have no other choice but 1848 which is the list price?

Looks like bs but I'd buy it at that price if it was legit.

Price is legit. Here is the link

Since HiFiMan is selling the Edition X V2 for $1199, you get an iFi micro iDSD Black Label Edition for only $100. Pretty good deal.

KEF M100s are still on special at Newegg. You can get the blue M100s for $34.99 -10% (code MBLB1205B) if you use their mobile app.

Just got mine into today. Still breaking in, but I'd have to say these are far and above the best darn $30 IEMs I ever bought. :o2smile:

I received my pair of Kef M100s as well, and so far do not share your enthusiasm for the sound. I am getting a boosted mid bass, not much deep bass, and uneven mid-range. Break in, and finding the best eartips will hopefully improve them for me but not the classic Kef Sound I was hoping for yet. Definitely worth the investment and giving them time.

I also got a pair of the M400 on ears (a couple of colors are still on sale for $80 Kef via NewEgg) These impress me a good bit more. The same warm musical but detailed sound I remember from my M500s. They are also more attractive in person, and look quite a bit better built, then they do in the photos. Nearly everything visible is aluminum or high quality faux-leather. A midrange that really draws you in. Not super comfortable on my large head...but I am working on adjusting those as well.

For cheap but excellent sounding single driver dynamic IEMs that are a deal (I bought more of them than I need this season) the ones I liked best are: B&O H3s, which are generally available new on eBay for about $45 because of the LG distributed ones being available cheap. And the really excellent Marshall Modes , currently $23 on Amazon through 3rd Party Prime dealers, also on eBay. You are taking a chance because there are a lot of grey market Marshall phones, but if you use Prime they are easy to return for nothing if not genuine. The set I got looks and sounds great.

Got another email from the The Headphone Bar in Vancouver.
They are having a sale on Campfire Audio tomorrow. They also mention a broader sale on Thursday for newsletter subscribers. For those of you not signed up, it might be worth it to sign up at least for the holidays.

They also offer a $40.00 discount on your purchase of $599.00 or more for signing up. I used that to add an amp to my headphone order.
